BANANARAMA Tripping On Your Love (NME, Aug-1991)
Quite a few people like the 'Nanas and quite right too. After all this time they're still as bright, sillu and fresh as the first moment they popped out of one of Terry Hall's wet dreams. Tripping however, is not camp enough to be one of their best. Cluttered with different styles it even throws up a bit of toasting when everybody knows that the closest the 'Nanas have ever come to that is with a loaf of of Homepride and a popular kitchen gadget. So, no sympathy for the Breville here.

BANANARAMA - Tripping On Your Love Number One Magazine, Aug-1991. Reviewer Dannii Minogue
(The girls are back in town with another single from their album Pop Life. The 12" features a George Michael remix!)  This sounds like one of their best yet. It's got a lot of different sounds in it, like the Prince-ish guitar and the Jamaican feel to it. I'm not a really massive Bananarama fan, but I think that everyone is a big fan of their early stuff. Very groovy, and the girls look great on the cover. Chart Postion: Top 15 Rating: 4 out of 5.
